Delete your account

Last updated: September 24, 2026 · Version française

Sport Habits is published by BULDEE. This page is the request path for an account deletion. Both ways below reach the same place, and neither of them costs anything.

From the app

Open Profile, then the Account section, then Delete my account. The server asks for your password again before it destroys anything: a sign-in that is minutes old is required, so a phone left unlocked on a bench cannot end two years of training on its own.

If you no longer have the app

Write to privacy@sporthabits.app from the e-mail address the account uses, and ask for the account to be deleted. We confirm the address before anything is destroyed, and the request is answered within 30 days. Uninstalling the app is not a deletion on its own: it clears what was stored on the phone, and leaves the account standing on the server until it is asked to go.

Thirty days, and how to change your mind

The account stops answering the moment the deletion is asked for. Thirty days later, everything the server holds is destroyed. Until that day the account can be kept from the device the deletion was asked from: the app shows the screen at the next sign-in. No other device can do it, and neither can we, because that device holds the only key to the request. Keeping it restores all of it, including the sets your phone had not sent yet.

The delay is not a cooling-off formality. Before it existed, a stolen token was enough to destroy a training history at a distance and in silence; the thirty days are what turn that into a notice you can act on.

What is destroyed

On the day the deletion is carried out, these rows are deleted, not marked:

  • Training: your programs, their days and exercise blocks, finished sessions, logged sets, rest events, session and exercise feedback, and the analysis jobs of the files you imported.
  • Body: weigh-ins and measurements.
  • Account and identity: e-mail address, first name, the cryptographic hash of your password, refresh tokens, coach profile, seats and communication preferences.
  • Access rights: entitlements, remaining import allowance, redeemed store receipts and the professional subscription record.
  • Machinery: notification tokens, synchronisation receipts and device reports.

What the app stores on your phone is not on our servers to begin with, and it goes when you uninstall.

What is kept, and for how long

One trace outlives the account: the data access journal. It records one line per access to personal data, carrying an account identifier, the kind of access rights used, the category of data, the reason for the access, the endpoint called and the time. No address, no first name, no content of any kind. It is append-only by design, so that a stolen token cannot erase the trace of its own use, and every line is dropped a year after the access it records.

Purchases and accounting

What you paid and the invoice that proves it are held by Apple, by Google and by our payment provider, each under their own retention, which accounting law fixes and we cannot shorten. We keep no copy of them after the deletion: the receipt records on our side go with the account.

Your other rights

Access, rectification, portability and objection are exercised at the same address: privacy@sporthabits.app. What we process, and why, is set out in the privacy policy.
